Ever had the urge to make a pet based on your favourite character from a book/movie/game etc. but couldn't due to Copyright?

Embarassingly, some of the very first things I sketched in 2008 were a Goku outfit, Mario hat and HP scarf. Of course, they could never be used. I still have the images, they will never see the light of day.

If I could have copyright stuff, there would be a lot of anime pets and items..

How many instruments can you play? If you could play at least one, which ones?

I used to play the piano and violin growing up and later dabbled in guitar when I was in my teens. These days I don't really have a lot of time or ability to play the guitar anymore. I do eventually want to get a ukulele though since they're a lot smaller and portable.

Have you ever dawn traditional art? If so, what did you draw?

Most of my work has been traditional before I dove into the world of digital art. While quite a bit of my art is now digital, I still draw and paint traditionally.

do you think tie dye looks bad as a pattern?

I'm not sure I trust anyone who doesn't think tie-dye isn't great.

My day could have been better, dealing with three people who live to antagonize me and call me an old man will do that. ^^;;
I do really enjoy CS, yes. <3
I prefer cats over dogs, and I like watching and handling birds... but I'm clueless when it comes to actually caring for them, and my cats would probably think it was a new, feisty meal, so I'll pass on owning one myself, for now.

What is your religion? (Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Atheist, other?) Im just curious

I belong to no organized religion. I was raised without it, and as I grew up and learned more about various religions, I found too much contradiction, fallacies, and stuff that I just could not accept without questioning and doubting. Instead, what really rang true with me was something from Siddhartha - which, in a nutshell, is that it's best to find your own way through your experiences, instead of following a teacher. (Obviously there's more to it, but that's why the novel exists)
My moral code's basic backbone is a hobglob of several different things, from lessons from family to certain texts that I've gone through - fictional and nonfictional, religious and secular. But I've built off of that foundation to... wherever I am now, and wherever I'll be in the future. Like how water erodes and builds beaches and banks, it'll change with experience and time.

To anyone; Dolphin and whale shows, what do you think? Good or bad? Peaceful or cruel? Why?

The shows themselves are cruel, as are the conditions the animals are kept in. However, a problem with people is that we often need a connection to an animal or species before we gather enough power to try to save it. Seeing these animals up close, it cements that the creature is real - and knowing it, and others like it, need help, society as a whole seems more willing to fight for their survival. Furthermore, it allows us to try to help out with their breeding. Granted, this can backfire (Tilikum's line is known for its violent nature, for example), but it grants protections that we can't do in the wild.
tldr; Shows in and of themselves are harmful, but we need to find a way to foster that human-animal connection in another way or we are probably going to lose some whale and dolphin species as people stop caring.

how has 2018 been for you so far? a lot of people have had different views, some saying that theirs have started out pretty sad but some have said its been way better than 2017, so im curious! ♥
