I decided I wouldn't hoard any of the staff pets, since I'm already hoarding last month's butterfly wolves. But now, I'm so tempted.... it's just such a cutie.

Will the clothes be refitted to fit her in the future?

Probably not, sorry! She's still counted as a dog, so items will convert to normal dog items on her.
That's the price of having a lot of edits. ^^;

There are still things that should fit her, though! Her head, neck, and tail are largely unedited, so she can wear held in mouth items, wigs, hats, collars, and tail bands fine. Plus items that don't need to be converted (like most non-clothing objects) still work fine. C:

You can ask, but I'm afraid I don't have a very good answer!

I mostly just wanted to try putting the current lines in a completely new pose while otherwise changing them as little as possible—mostly just by moving/rotating bits of the original lineart. The markings are just something simple I thought would look nice; the edits were the point of the pet, so I didn't want to distract from them too much with a crazy design!

Also, random fact: everything about the dog used the colour palette! The eyes, the CS tag, the lines—even the shading and highlights (though those layers were still set to multiply/screen, respectively).

The artist did a pretty good job rearranging the lineart on this one. Those shoulders, though. They look kinda...beefy? (Maybe she works out?) I think it might have something to do with the original shading where the foreleg and shoulder meet; I'm a bit doubtful the shading should still be going "horizontally" while the dog's laying down. Other than that, everything else looks great! I love the soft, simple design. c:


Love the edits (and markings) on the first one. I'm not 100% sure what breed it's suppose to be, but the head/muzzle shape makes me think collie.
Excuse me while I sit here in awe of this dog's hair. All those swirls and details; it's beautiful! Love the eye markings and the ghosts in the background, too. I also just realized that there seems to be fingers coming out of her cream markings. :o

Haha this is so weird! I mean it looks fine but seeing parts of the normal lineart moved and rotated like this is throwing me for a loop.
Props though! That's a really neat idea.

I've been hoping for a laying down dog scince last year's staff litter. I thought that the moth one last year would be laying down. (because in it's puppy form it was). Now there finally is one and its so cute !!! YAY

I love the big change in this one, must admit I was a bit "bored" with it as pup I was hoping it would grow to be a surprise, and a surprise it was! I was not expecting those line edits at all, but you pulled them off so well! I really love this dog now, but I have to trade for it, since I missed it. >u>;
Kudos Calico! You certainly get props from me, this one surprised me the most so far. It's not over done design wise and was a total shocker in it's adult stage. To me at least. This is why I love the staff litters, they always throw you for a loop! The staff litter this year has been great so far. Not all the dogs have spoken "love" to me, but I've still enjoyed seeing them all even if I don't end up keeping every one. éωè
