I am late to the party but I am loving the outcomes so far! The colours are super pretty and I am so excited to see them all grow<3 I haven't read all posts but I have looked through the hints and couldn't see anything relating to this but I apologise if it has already been asked!

To those of you who have named your pets, was there a meaning behind the name? And would you share the meaning with us?

I wanted to keep my comments on the outcomes once they were all grown but I love everything about Concept's pup, omg!! That pose is chef's kiss! It looks so clearly not a dog but still doesn't feel out of place near the other dogs. I'm so amazed!

Thank you all so much!! This has been my first staff pet so I'm just blown away by the support and how much you all enjoyed her! I meant to have some more ready for her reveal, including a larger story with more pictures, but that fell to the wayside since the last few weeks have been VERY busy XD

Instead, I want to tell you a little about her!

-the story for Hymn is that she's a space alien who came to CS universe Earth after sneaking out of her mothership. She didn't know ANYTHING about Earth, or living on a planet, since she grew up in space! So everything was new for her! For a long time, she was scared that her appearance was going to make people afraid of her; she's a little intimidating, after all! But over time, she started to come out of her shell and be more open about who she was and try to live life to the fullest on Earth.

-When she was a pup, she would hide her claws, but now that she's older, she isn't as afraid of letting them be seen!

-She eats meat but she likes it cooked first, don't worry!

-EVERYTHING fascinates her.

-Her name is Hymn because she's based from a praying mantis! Specifically, an orchid mantis. That was also where several of my clues came from, specifically the "Courage and Persistence, Patience and Perseverance." which are parts of mantis symbolism. They're also uh... part of symbolism from a ton of other animals, so it was a pretty broad clue XDD

-She's not based on me or anything, but she embodies a lot of the things I love deeply and wanted to share. Bugs, space, aliens, the sheer love of life and the joy of learning and experiencing the world out there, even if it can be scary sometimes. After all, just being here and being able to do this is a result of trying something new and scary!

I'm so grateful to everyone who exists here. Thank you again for an amazing year <3
