So theory time on the lions!
We've got a nice colour gradient going across the outcomes I think c:
Each tail seems to link to the previous head - which I think means we'll be seeing the orange boy grow next, and he'll end up with pinkish features at the head end, then the pink girl and then the purple boy which leads back into the first blue girl - maybe the still growing cub will then turn into a rainbow pps?

Really lovely concept if this is the case, and loving the designs in general anyway :3

Oh word? I didn't know they came in albino. That's so cool.

I think it's just a white coloration, like the one in the image. Insects can't be albino under natural circumstances, only lab settings I think.


I got two of them, so I'll be needing 19 more for my caterpillar hoard. I thought maybe the line work changes were to extreme for the hoard I have, but I can't resist. They're probably going to be hard to find, but it will give me something more to trade for than just items.

Yep, my bad for not being more specific XD Locally we just call them "albinos" so that was the first word to come to mind, but its just a morph of the wooly that's all white <3 There's also a wives' tale that says seeing a white wooly means the upcoming winter is going to be extra snowy and harsh. Interesting little fellas!

i absolutely adore the little guys!!
though theyre not a morph or coloration- theyre a different species, the Virginia tiger moth for example, as opposed to the 'banded' wooly bear species which is the isabella tiger moth. there are several different 'white' woolly species out there but most of them do fall into the tiger moth subfamily

My best guess for your lil guy would be the delicate cycnia or dogbane tigermoth

Rhodonite? Or maybe thulite, though the inclusions on that tend to be white.
