I’m really excited for the puppies!


Also space unicorns! I can’t wait, I love space-themed stuff! :D

But is it just me, or do the cocoons look a little blurry? Maybe it's just me.

I'm so excited about the unicorns, not only are they space-themed, they also have some pastel colours incorporated into their design, something I love so much. The rats seem to be in pastel tones as well. ♥

The fennec foxes and the horses are simple yet intriguing.

And the colours of the dogs and the cats are amazing. They remind me of a beach vacation, or tropical drinks.

I was so pleasantly surprised yesterday by the three different types of adoptable equines for this month! :0 Love the draft and unicorn linearts! Is there a chance any of the latter will sprout wings and become alicorns in spite of both parents being unicorns?

It's not impossible; the last 2nd gen litter of unicorns (Easter 2016) had a winged outcome despite neither parent (St. Paddy's Day 2010 and Easter 2015) possessing wings. Saikiyo also did the 2019 Halloween unicorn litter (whence comes the ghostly blue parent of our current babies), and several of those ended up with wings as well...

Either way, I adore both parents and literally squealed when I saw they'd been paired, so I'll be happy even if they all turn out to be "just" unicorns!

Also the word "alicorn" literally refers to the horn of a unicorn, so I prefer to reserve it for that particular usage even though it's entered our collective lexicon as another word for a winged unicorn or "pegacorn." No shade to those who do, just my personal linguistic preference.

I'm loving the pets so far this month. The horses are giving me flash backs to all of my college art classes and how many gradient strips I had to paint XD.

I'm also trying to figure out these chickens. They remind me a bit of double negative photography but we'll have to see how they turn out.
