I'm guessing there won't be a split because we were only able to adopt 7 foxes for 5 (as far as we know) outcomes, and they usually let us adopt as least 2 more than there are outcomes for iirc? this could be an exception though, i dunno, but i really don't think there will be

(also correct me if i'm wrong but, don't 2nd/3rd gen litters tend not to split? since they all look different at the base outcome? idk man)

I think there have been 2nd gen splits in the past but it was a long time ago and only happened a few times.

Is there any chance of splits in the 2nd gen litter ? I'm a newbie here and I'm so paranoid about splits that I have a lot of trouble letting go of pets that aren't fully grown to trade.

Does anyone know of any signs of splits or things to watch out for ? Or do you just go ahead and trade and hope for the best ?

Most of the time it's (amount of outcomes) * 1,5 but there are of course exceptions.
5 outcomes * 1,5 gives you 7,5.

(For example the staff litter has 27 outcomes *1,5 gives you 40,5 - and we could adopt 40. The "+2 more than outcomes" wouldn't work here. ^^)

yay! this is the first time i've adopted the second gens and managed to get all outcomes :*
i'm not usually a fan of foxes but the colours are really interesting me, so they may go
and change my mind! the cats and ponies also look a bit interesting, so i'm keeping my
eye out on those in particular! i'm not too sure on the deer but who knows, so exciting!

oh yeah i understand!! i just meant like..in small litters we usually get at least 2 more adopts than there are outcomes? definitely doesnt apply to everything

Typically, in litters that have 5-6 or less outcomes, the +2 does work. Its the bigger litters it usually doesn't work. Now, there are always exceptions of course, but those are rare for the smaller litters.
