The would honestly put the blue scarf (since it is pretty easy to get) below the white scarf (since the white scarf is a bit harder to get)

Apart from the Pastel litter I agree with your demand list. I don't think Floppy is up that high, and I think the 3 Tailed is the best liked but I don't really trade them so I don't really know where I'd put them. But overall it's a great list.

I guess the next step is to merge these, then to start slotting in each new batch of candidate 09 list pets.
Here's my first attempt at a list incorporating both rarity and demand, based off our assumptions. My intention was to put no Rares above the Floppy Pink Pastel group (so Orange Spotted up) and no VRs under the Orange Spotted group (so Floppy Pink down), so if you see any that don't fit that; let me know as it's probably a mistake.

This looks good imo. I'm a little unsure about the pastel litter, i have traded pretty much all of them multiple times and the floppy pink one always flies away no problem, while i've been stuck with the 3 tail multiple times.

But - Do we really want to place the light and the dark faced octobers together? I feel like the dark-faced has more demand to it, maybe we should lower the light-faced one line?

Also the bottom line worries me a bit. Do we really want the green batdog to be swapable with the star royal? I'm really unsure about this e.e since i have never, ever swapped the green bat dog for an 08. Sure, i've gotten some early 09's (Those that are still rare now) but never an 08.

I've not done much with the pastel litter, I don't recall trading mine so feel free to move them around a bit. I placed the Faced Octobers together because the dark one has higher demand, but the light one is rarer. It turned VR in January 2011, before the 08 Advent litter. The Dark-Faced turned in March 2011, so I suppose it isn't that far off. If you want to move it down one I wouldn't object.

Star Royals are so common I spent most of 2011 giving mine away. Green Batdog is more rare than Star Royal according to the rarity archives, and I'd believe it considering I only have one in my trade groups that I traded for, whereas I still have Star Royals I personally adopted back in 08. If we put Green Batdog with Star Royal, I'm sure people would start swapping it for them. I know we are supposed to be reflecting trade value and not setting it, but if we put it lower, I think people will be paying an 08 rare for it anyway; I never see them around. That's just my thoughts, make of them what you will.

For reference, Green Batdog turned Rare in Oct 2011. Star Royal turned Rare in Jan 2012. Tbh I'm not even sure they should make the list; there are a LOT of VRs on the site, that ought to be considered. But if the list ends up getting too big and complicated we can deal with that later I spose.

Idk if I skipped over him or not, but the Shima Longtail Staff Dog? I know he is pretty popular, but I don't think he ever made it onto the Rares List. Just a suggestion. c:

Shima Longtail is going to be the Black Advent of 2009 eventually. I don't think it's worthy of being considered to put on here just yet though. At least not before a list is put up and it's tweaked a bit anyway.

As for the Green Batdog, I do want to mention that I've always traded it as Rare. For years already. Well before it actually turned people seem to have demanded it be treated that way. It's absolutely the rarest of it's litter by far. Like almost Joker compared to the other Card Dogs type rarity difference. I think it's far rarer and more popular and wanted than the Royal Star. But it's actual adoption date and the fact that it was available for a few months might make it equal to the Royal Star as far as placement goes.

As for the rest of the list, I'd drop all four Card Dogs down a line below where they are. Honestly below the Blue Moon and Camo Dogs even. Just because I've seen so so so many of them out there yet.
