I know, but I just don't really have 2010 rare's so I was thinking what kind of a 2009 pet would 4 2010 rares equal? (if that makes any sence xD) Like would a late 2009 rare be an overpay?

A 2012 store dog should be overpay for the August Lion
2012 store dogs are worth early/mid 2010 rares
August Lions are worth 2011 rares, though they go for more (due to demand)
Because of demand, though, you might find it hard to trade for an August Lion (some people are even paying advents for them.)
But technically, yes, store dogs are worth more than August Lions.
