Maybe that's because Rudolph isn't an adult? At least I think that he wasn't an adult
It has

But yeah, I think the older deer are supposed to have bigger antlers. Or maybe the males.
(Both male and female reindeer have antlers, although males' are bigger. Also, real reindeer don't have the typical "deer" noses, so a "red-nosed reindeer" would be one with a red muzzle. Santa uses deer, not reindeer.)

Maybe the smaller antlers mean that they're a younger buck? Their antlers would be newer than the older bucks with the bigger antlers. c:
Maybe the muscular ones are reindeer and the natural colored, thinner ones are deer o3o

Actually, female reindeer do have antlers, and they keep them during the winter

Soo...
But anyway, there are small hints to which santa's reindeer are which. I think I figured out Comet, Cupid, Blitzen, and Prancer (and Rudolf, obviously lol) But I'm having trouble with Donner (which should have some connection with thunder maybe? Since Blitzen is lightning), and the rest.
All that is gold does not glitter, {I disdain all glittering gold,}
Not all those who wander are lost, ... {There is nothing can console me, ...}
The crownless again shall be the king. {But my jolly sailor bold.}

Actually no, if Rudolph has a red nose he can't be a reindeer. Therefore we must assume that Santa uses not reindeer, but deer.
And yes, but female
reindeer have antlers.
EDIT: @Lady, yes, that's what I meant.
So I guess we have to assume that these linearts are deer too

Do deer have red noses? o:
But in the story, they are reindeer. I think that the muscular ones are Santa's reindeer and the natural colored are normal deer but the could all be reindeer... Very difficult, much confusion /dogemode
