How do people become staff members?

Users are occasionally given the chance to apply to join certain positions on the team - for example, right now we are looking for new GHs and Oekaki Mods.
As you can see when you go to the thread and the various pages it links to, there are different requirements and duties for each position. Users interested in applying have to read the info pertaining to the role, and then fill out an application form.
This form will be reviewed by staff, and the new staff members will then be picked by the admins.

There are usually openings for various roles every year, though they don't follow a specific schedule.
You can always check the announcement board to see if there is currently any hirings going on.

How do you put pictures on your Trading Rules?

To turn an image link into a picture, you need to put it in between the BBCode tags for images. They look like this:

Is it possible to keep role-playing once you become a staff member?
I'm asking because I've personally never seen a staff member in a Roleplay.

I don't roleplay because I kinda suck at writing lol Staff member are free to do things like rp

to artists:
when you design pets, are you given a theme? or are you just told to roll with it? or maybe both?

We chose our own theme but sometimes we take suggestions from other staff or users.

This one is mostly for the artists (especially those who make the butterfly wolves). I was wondering if there was a time when you considered making different color patterns for the wings on a BW?

Not that I know of but we can change it for a particular litter if we want.

The people. Joined for the pets, stayed for the people.
I still love to collect all the pets, and I am every eager to at least get all new pets. But I am not thaaat big on actually trying to smaller my wishlist. Probably too lazy to go and trade lol.
Roleplaying will also always be a big part of my life and I love it very much, especially if you roleplay with friends.
But yes, the best part for me here are the people.

(No opinion on white chocolate though...as lactose intolerant person white chocolate means death to me. I only eat very dark chocolate which is naturally lactose free.

Ehhm...not really. The HTTYD movies are nice though.
The best teacher for skills regarding life is life itself. No series or movie can give you the lessons life can give you.

To any staff member:
Is it possible to keep role-playing once you become a staff member?
I'm asking because I've personally never seen a staff member in a Roleplay.

Shall I let you in on a secret? I actively roleplay with two other staff members *cough* Verdana *cough* Raey, and I've roleplayed with countless other members of staff over the years. Like a lot of roleplays though, things sort of fade away after a while. It's nice though, because other staff members obviously understand time balances. But I still maintain private 1x1s with a couple of non-staff members and it's great; it provides me with motivation to come on site for reasons other than modding, which is good because it gives me a vested interest ;)

I started watching it for the first time a couple of months ago because, at the time, my best best best friend was about to graduate from nursing and take up a job in the Neonatal unit of our local hospital. We were going to live together - so I thought I would clue myself up on the fictional lingo ;) I really enjoy the earlier seasons, I'm only on season 7 now but George still breaks my heart.
