I'd take the second one over the first, just because of the upper-hand in trades you get with the Black Advent. Rarity-wise though, the first trade is better.

Well, if we're going by the rares list this is really unfair to you.

I agree, very unfair to you. Even if the Raven has very great demand, it is a september list and does not match up to a mainlist.

I'd go with the top one, but you should wait for the rarity of the foal to be revealed before you trade it.
