Trade Rant Thread [V.30][Read All the Rules Before Posting]

I find it ridiculous when people say "if you're not going to put effort into a trade, then why should I?" when it comes to one sided trades (or most trades in general, I should say).

When I send out a one sided trade, I'm giving you the chance to find something that you want for the pet- I very easily labeled my folders, so if you took just a few seconds out of your precious day to even just look in them, you might find something that you liked. It's especially helpful when you don't have any Wishlist pets.

But what really gets me is when people cancel a trade saying "could you add another pet?", and after I add the other pet and resend it, they cancel and say "I don't like that one". So again, I resend it with a different pet and (go figure) they cancel and say something along the lines of "could you offer another one instead?"

So tell me. Who's putting more effort into the trade, me or you?

Do I reallyhave to do everything for you? ;_;

I saw on the free board someone posting that you could take 2-3 free pets from their Adoption group.

I wanted four, and I felt bad for wanting to take more than the limit so I offered 4 pets in return to either donate, or they could keep them if they would like. They told me since the pets had no rarity they weren't able to accept.

But they were from your FREE group? O_O I could have some if I offer nothing but...not if I offer unknown rarities?

People annoy me a lot. All I wanted was a simple swap. The pets were in the same litter with the same value. Theirs was an original date, and my wasn't. They sent it back saying I should add because they really like the pet so I did. After sending suggestions back and forth, they finally sent a 2009 rare. I changed it to a 2010 and said that is the most I would offer. The declined with a message saying that their pet was prettier and original date, so that wasn't fair. Seriously?

On the 24th, I sent a trade out to a person who's quitting, asking for one pet. They had posted a topic about getting one free pet for user. Of course, being me, I sent a message about how tragic it was to see them go, etc, etc.

An hour ago they cancelled, saying:

It is closed already, sorry

Excuse me, but you never said anywhere that it was closed except in a single post, which got flooded out by bumps. Put it in the title, put it in the main post, PUT IT SOMEWHERE PEOPLE CAN ACTUALLY SEE IT OUT OF THE 55 PAGES. Then you have the nerve to leave my trade to rot for over a week while you still get on CS without bothering to tell me until now.

And actually, they joined December 10th. They went and gathered pets from other adoption centers, then suddenly decided to quit?? Who does that?

They are about to get a PM (I'll try to be as kind as possible about this, asking where they posted under their topic out of the 55 pages and why they never put it into the main post/title like you would expect someone to do).

In someone's rules, they demand overpay for a hoard pet. I thought that was pretty stupid, but I was okay with it. Their next rule states that their unknowns/current pets were for swaps only. Since those were my hoard, I figured a few swaps were fine since that's what they wanted. Nope. Canceled with them accusing me of completely ignoring their rules; I didn't overpay for the hoard pets! Seriously? How about you make sure your own rules don't contradict themselves. Also, why should I have to overpay for something just because I hoard it? Done with you. I shall just have to go find someone else who doesn't have conflicting rules and don't demand overpay for my hoard pets. X3

Please don't try to scam in the future. You have a dog just like this and you definitely know it's a Main List pet...

And then you send me a PM explaining how it looked like other pets and that you weren't trying to scam me.
Though I forgive you, the pictures you did provide me with of what you claimed you mistook them for had "2nd Generation" imprinted. Not my 1st Gen. Well. It can't be helped...

I might really just trade my Sorbet down for a bunch of List Bulk...
