I'm not sure what to think on this trade, when you factor in rarety, species, and demand. I know rats and drafts have lower demans then dogs and PPS, but...

I'm pretty sure it's unfair to them.

I would say it's fair. The demand weighs down your side, while the dates weigh down your trading partner's side.
