Now keep in mind that not all staff members are artiste. It seems a bit rude to call it a "waste of potential".They all have potential, however their potential is directed in different ways. Some staff members are more simplistic while others are outgoing ,and others may be in between. Some members, like Cloudsong or Moonflight, pay more attention to pattern, detail, and simple edits to make their pups unique and develop a signature that way.So yes,the users may be disappointed by lack of lineart edits, but there is more to a staff pup than just edits^^.

Adding to this: there are literally people who ARE NOT ARTISTS. Like seriously, some people on here are just general helpers or mods who don't even do artistic things. Some of them can draw, some of them can't. I'm always amazed at how well everyone does in the staff litters; every pet is fabulous, even from people who don't draw very often. This month is like every month: don't like the pet? Don't keep it. It really is rude to come here and put people down like that.

I personally love simple things, therefore I made a simple dog. Although I'll tell you, I fought with those blasted feathers all dang day. Bwaha.

i don't think it's simple, for me it's one of the best fully grown stuff dogs so far. I just love every single feather on it.

To those saying I am being rude, you have harshly misread my post... I was specifying those that are skilled artists not taking advantage of a once a year event being a lost opportunity to do something extra special. No matter. I have requested my post being removed.

I love simple designs too, because, for example, you don't have to struggle much to dress the pet up,and because it's simple yet adorable and awesome. I'm not saying the pets with line edits are bad,it's absolutely the contrary. I love both really, but just stating my opinion on simple designs. :3

Same. Some staff dogs feel a bit...cluttered. I honestly think one or two touches are really cool. Like for example TheCalicoTabby's lineart edits were really fun to find. Especially with the headbangin' gifs XD. Along with Lilian's secret message. While it may be fun to see a ton of line edits, it's super hard to dress up. I can't do much with Lilian's dog because I don't have many items that would work with her. I'm just a person of simplicity, but I do apperciatle some good line edits here and then.
