omg... Simon's agree's with me.... XD I squeaked alittle. Not gunna lie. This made me happy since I got the agreement of a CS staff member on my theory. And my first ever theory in fact. XD

And compasslogic, not to sound rude, but even if they don't exist, still doesn't mean they can't be based off them. So how about we all just calm down and let people have their fun instead in guessing tell they deny and or accept the pet as theirs. (*Ignore this cause i'm the one that needs to calm down not them. XD I needa put my glasses on to read better cause I mistook the original post as rude*)

If this hint is correct, this dog doesn't fit it as the pup grew on Day 3. — ✘

I see nothing to suggest that the dog has anything to do with a cricket, unless perhaps the markings? And an analysis of the wings makes them appear to have a bird anatomy and feathers, though I doubt the dog could fly. — ✘

Only four of the five colors are present. — ✘

- My dog has eyes and can see perfectly fine.
Eyes? Yes. Can it see? Doubtful. The dog doesn't have a pupil, which is necessary to see or else the light wouldn't be able to get to the retina so the dog could perceive it. — ✘

- 'Cause I couldn't cry, 'cause I turned away, didn't the pain of leaving everything really far behiiiind. [possibly a hint, not sure though]

General Helpers are not a part of the CS staff. Simon is a GH and is a volunteer to help around, not staff xD

I think that this pet IS Schuyler's.. Just a gut feeling. Also, most of the hints match up.

In my opinon, a part of the lineart technically was erased >3<
A part of the neck had to be erased to add in the necklace/collar ._. but idk cx
Also, Schuyler could be messing with us on the cricket thing.

It could refer to wingless/flightless crickets? I'm not sure on that one myself.
All the colours are present though..? The oranges are there in the feathers and the lil necklace piece.
The part of the lineart erased would be to make way for the necklace

The dog fits too well, in my opinion, especially with all the references to heaven and fallen angels. Morningstar itself is reference to angels c:
