That's not fair to you at all. Three 2016 rares is worth a bit more than a 2015 rare. A 2010 rare+10C$ does not equal to a 2009 rare. They're offering less than half the value of your pet

Considering the demand of rats how much should I be looking for? this is the best bid I've gotten so far

I'd personally say 75%-100%. I've seen old rats go for their full value.
You shouldn't consider that bid, that's basically just throwing your rat away. Even though the demand isn't that good, that offer is still ridiculous

rarity wise it's fair. the spotted tribal and the ur malk are one the same tier of the main list, and the two store pets are a fair swap. however, they may have cancelled because the spotted tribal's demand is very low, or because of the omgsr-vr difference, which has been important to a few people i've traded with

Technically fair as the spotted tribal and ur malk are on the same tier. Demand wise the ur malk rather goes for overpay (up to a non) while the spotted tribal can go for underpay (:
