What do you think of these trades? The first is the original and the second is my counter offer. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about trading so I want to make sure I'm fair in the future ^^ TY!

Not worth calc recent common values, it would have been too miniscule.

Unfair to you in the original offer, and they would have been slightly overpaying in your counteroffer. Honestly, differences in rarities between years when it comes to commons/uncommons is kind of... overlooked by the majority of people trading on CS. It's going to change from user-to-user ^^"

Both are very unfair to you.
Recent rares are only worth at most a rare within the same year or two of its release! Even if we didn't want to account for differences in year, a rare should only be worth 2 uncommons!

For your second trade especially, your store pet from late 2021 is worth a 2010 rare! This is because they are sold at 20 C$/ea when they come out and 20C$ automatically sets them worth at least a 2011 rare and they only increase in value as time passes!
