This makes me kinda sad but we all have to remember that sometimes real life does tend to get in the way of our happy little internet universe. Not much ya can do but just go with the flow and try to make the best of things.
The ironic thing is that about a week or two before she officially became a PPS I moved her over to Kali's Nursery (My PPS collection) I had a feeling that after her troubled hatching and start in life and her stall at this stage she might be the end of the line. For whatever reason is not our business to ask and we're all very thankful for the wonderful Dragons we already have.
I personally love the little PPS dragon chasing her little blue tail forever ^_^ She's gonna get awfully dizzy though. She is such a cute little thing.

i think its like what happened to the warrior cats, malk got the idea from a series of books and because the books are copyright they have to stop releasing dragons based on the books, i guess they could keep the same lineart but they wouldnt be able to use colours from the books if they wanted to carry on releasing dragons. at least i think thats probably whats happened.

I honestly don't think there's a problem with copyright here. The warrior cats, yes, because they were based of specific characters. If they had just been naturally colored cats, there wouldn't be a problem. You can copyright a character, you can copyright an original, unique species, but you can't copyright dragons with common colorations. (A green dragon. Never seen that before :U) Not exactly an original species. The dragons aren't specific characters, just colors that happened to be found in the book. Unless they're like Pern dragons, which have significantly different rules and species characteristics (that are obvious in their appearance) compared to "normal" dragons, there's really nothing wrong.

Hm, that's exactly what I was thinking. Every other Warrior fan here recognises some of the Warriors, because some of them are very detailed (e.g. Scourge), but the dragons? =x They share the same lineart, only the colour is different.

I think the lineart might be the problem. If you look at the dragons on the cover of the "Age of fire" books, the dragons are pretty much drawed the same way (same bodyshape, horns, etc.)
And there's also the fact that the gray dragon doesn't have scales, which is the same in the books (don't know if that's a common thing from dragon mythology?)

I'm going to disagree with you there. The dragons on the
covers of the books look pretty different to me. Wings definitely stick out as a big difference; they're a very twisty, pointy style on the books. The body shapes are subtley different too, the book covers are more flexible looking. The face is different, and the horns on the book covers are the color of the dragon, not white. Actually, if I hadn't been told, I could look at the Malk dragons and the book covers and never guess that one was based off the other.
