Okay so at first I ignored some bunny related answers from Raire because I thought it wasn't related to the pup that much ^^' but new theory I guess

Another question, if anyone feels like answering:
What’s your pup’s favourite flower?

Tufted saxifrage

Im gonna hop on the train and ask a question!
If your pup could go into any "biome" on earth where would it be? (eg. mountains, rivers, plains, sky)

Wherever his favourite flower grows.

As been ponted out, this plant grows in tundra. Animal that also lives in tundra - Artctic Hare feeds on saxifrage plants (other tundra hares I found was Snowshoe hare and Alaskan hare but I don't know their diet).

does your pup have a favourite constellation? ^^

Alpha Leporis is amongst his favourites, also it is really hard to pick for him.

Alpha Leporis is the brightest star in the constellation of Lepus (latin for rabbit).

Which leads us to stars and space and Mars rovers. Another rover I found was Moon rover called Yutu which is translated as Jade Rabbit. Which led me to the Moon rabit that is "a mythical figure who lives on the Moon in Far Eastern folklore, based on pareidolia interpretations that identify the dark markings on the near side of the Moon as a rabbit or hare."
So there you go. That's my guess.

Of course there's always a chance Raire is droping random rabbit facts (which tbh I appreciate a lot, I learned so many interesting things today) or maybe just maybe the pup is based on the Moon rabbit

Edit: Oh yeah and signature pet also has stars and bunny

No this pet is separate. This pet is helpful in determining my pup, though so far no one has been looking at the right thing.

I don't feel any smarter than before though. The plushie itself is a crocodile/gator but that doesn't match the "uses camouflage and isn't a big fighter" hint. That's why I thought it might be the platypus puppy but apparently I was wrong.
Maybe this scale-y looking pup could be theirs and is going to turn into some sort of reptile?
