Someone just offered a bunch of hoard pets and some rats I have multiples of for my rainbow maned XD I told them to read my rules after telling them to do so in a previous trade. AND THE FLAMING MESSAGES ARE WAITINF!!! :3

Well I got something that kinda irritated me in a trade today .___.

I got a message about that someone wanted to make a trade with me, so I head over to my trades to take a closer look at it. This member offers me the blue advent dog with santa hat from 2009 Advent Calendar, and the person wants a bobtailed black 2nd gen with a gold earring. Ya know, one of the first 2nd gens. I just accepted it.

Then some hours later, I get a new trade offer, and of course I look at it. Then it's the person that have made a trade offer where the person wants their pet back, and they want the advent pet for the black 2nd gen she got from me. Usually it would be fine with me if they had made a mistake, but it was the message that came with the trade that annoyed me:

"No fair trade give me back my pet thats an order."

.... "Thats an order"? wth? I wont take orders from somebody that made the trade themselves. I dont know if it were an unfair trade. I see the old 2nd gens as uncommon, since they can't be adopted anymore. But "thats an order"? In fact the person couldn't order me to give the pet back. Especially not when the person was the one to send the trade, or is it just me that overreacts, and did something wrong? But I gave the pet back, but telling the person not to bother sending trades to me anymore, if they have to order me around...

It would maybe have been something else if I were the one that were asking for the advent pet, in exchange for the 2nd gen, but this person was the one to send the trade, so of course I think that the trade must be okay with them? Or is it just me that thinks that way? Then the person at least could have asked to get it back in a nice way. By saying it was a mistake and if they maybe please could get their pet back. Then of course I would trade back, but "that's an order"? Geez..

It doesn't really have anything to do with if I'm a international mod or not. If I weren't, I would still be annoyed about it. I had no reasons to give the pet back. It's the risk about trading.

I just wouldnt have given the pet back. If they offered a pet in a trade to you, just to 'order' you for the pet back, I would accept it, with some message of:

"You sent the trade, I accepted it. Once a trade is done, its done, no going back in time. Also: You cant order me, I AM a mod (No boasting intended). Ordering me will just result in you being foed. (You would still be able to PM, just not send trades ^.^)"

Then if they harassed me, I would ultimately ignore them...

When I gave the pet back I wrote that they should check up on the trade rules in the trade forum. It says clearly:

"Please note that once you give a pet to someone, you can't get it back unless they choose to give it back to you. "

And they couldn't order me around, but if it had to be that way, then they shouldn't bother try trade me again.
