It looks like the hens have smaller talons/claws than roosters, but just the one near the back of the foot. THe first hen also seems to have larger wings than the second.

Male chickens actually do have that in real life! My neighbor had chickens and the males always had them. I'm positive they're used for fighting, but I'm not sure if they have another purpose. It definitely makes them look tougher though

Yeah, they're used for fighting, although the male lineart just has a larger back toe and not an actuall spur like real adult males would have:

Also, the first hen has more defined feathers around her neck and longer, less compact tail feathers compared with the second.
