Recent Rarity Change List [January Update in progress!!]

When did this pet become an uncommon? I've been hoarding it for over a year now and I just noticed it!
Also, what causes a pet's rarity to change? Is there a different thread I should be asking?

I dont know when it changed uncommon or if it always has been. when i owned it it was uncommon.
The rarities change judging by how many active users own them so if a lot of people stop being active and have the pet it will cause its rarity to change

I noticed that it changed to uncommon this month, since I organize the majority of my pets (regardless of whether they’re for trade or not for trade) by their rarities.

common -> uncommon

I do believe the star rat was not rare before.
I only have below-rare pets on my WL but I just saw him as a rare on there today.

It's a store pet, which will never be re-released, so they only gain value. It's now rare enough to have this rarity ^^

The rarity tag only cares about how many of the pet are on active accounts. No demand is reflected in the rarity tag ^^

I would argue that because of 'demand' back when it was released it didnt get bought as much as its counterpart, thus becoming more rare now! Store pets dont get rereleased so its on its way to becoming the rarest pet there is o:
