I swear, one second this bun was a Very rare and the next its a rare. I am correct it has been very rare this whole time until recently? Its from April 2010

Nope. It's always been common. There is an uncommon buck outcome in the litter though.

Did this rat just go very rare? I could have sworn he was rare a few days ago. I got him in a trade fairly recently and I thought he was just rare then... I could be wrong though.

Yep! It was OMGSR until January 2017.
Due to 2016's December 18th release, it knocked down it's rarity due to more and more of these guys were released. c:
All UR's have a possibility of being knocked down to just VR, if more of them is released into ChickenSmoothie's economy due to December 18th. ^^
It all really depends how much of them are actively in circulation, and in active accounts. That's how rarity is determined in CS actually!
