No, I personally don't think so.
Back in 2008, there were no adoption limits, so people could just adopt, adopt, adopt, and adopt. I remember distinctly adopting them time after time, liking the design so much I wanted more.

I'm asking 'cause he's a '09 January and his littermate has already been rare for a while.

I see quite a few of him around... So I think early mid 12 at earliest.

About the 2008 butterfly wolves, I think they will go rare after the re-release. I don't see a lot, and when I do, I don't see someone with a whole collection of them.
