Artists have been making other animals on different bases for years now. It's probably not easy.
Rainbow kangaroos aren't realistic too. It's just for fun.
I think Concept did an amazing job

There where a ton of these during the summer event!

But all of these LOOK like a different species, it’s clear a pre existing base was used, but it’s heavily edited like the guinea pig to a straight platypus?! Genius. And the opossum doesn’t even resemble a chameleon in the absolute slightest¿ Their anatomy follows along with the base edits. I agree that these lines are unattractive for kangaroos, and it probably was very hard to edit, but it reminds me of when the kangaroos bend over a bit. like a poster previously mentioned i believe it’s just a fun CS twist on things and is a way for the otter base to gain more popularity and gain more use out of the lines. The Joey is the best one out of them all! I think they could’ve fared off better being on a bunny base even, or all being joeys! The pps lines work very well for this concept.

is anyone else having a hard time keeping up with this month? i havent been as available 'cause of a lot of personal stuff (dad in hospital, trying to figure out how to quit work and get a better job, worrying about bills and christmas, etc etc) and now i'm missing both otters so far and tonight's macaw as well, and i don't even know if i'm missing more...
i haven't even posted in the trade thread yet because i think i'm just tired, but i keep forgetting the advent every night until hours after rollover, and then i'm so focused on ONLY the advent that i forget to even check my monthly outcomes. i haven't struggled this hard to keep up in a long time.

December is always the hardest month for me to keep up with as well. Advent effectively doubles the needed attention, during a time IRL where everyone in general is more stressed and feeling the pressure of creeping deadlines as the year runs out. It's a lot. I'm focusing on keeping my advent pets up-to-date and worrying about monthly pets when I have time, since people will be continually adopting the monthlies all month and the advents are inherently limited release.

If the otters aren't pansies then I don't know what they are! They're absolutely beautiful too <3
My first thought was crocuses. There's probably a number of flowers they could be!
