If you zoom in really closely the pattern on this does almost look like a flower, with the bud to the right and the stalk and leaves along the bottom, as though it were growing sideways. The first outcome looks pretty floral, too. Traditional china can be quite floral, but my first thought was an old botanical book drawn in blue ink. Weirdly specific lol

I think the china pattern is called "Delft Blue"

I can tell as much that they are not exactly based off chinese art But nice eyes, its indeed a flower on the egg!

Aw, I wish I had some sort of grand answer to give you in response to this! Unfortunately I just made these up haha. The gray one was inspired by moths, and the blue-green one does have some eastern dragon influence.

The blue-green one reminds me a lot of Haku from Spirited Away ^^

Yeah! My deep-sea bioluminescence impression of this litter is only getting stronger!
(and thank goodness, I only had 2 blue foxes and one grew and one didn't. Woot!)

agree, the eyes are adding this little extra to it !
