a full sleeve is quite difficult to cover up, so it might affect you at job interviews or other situations in the future. You should see if there are any tattoo forums where people with full sleeves can give you advice or share their own experiences to help you make your decision I've also heard that a good idea is to wear temporary tattoos in that place for a few weeks or months so you have time to work out if you like having tattoos there or not

places like your back or upper arms are pretty good for tattoos because it's easy to hide it when you don't want other people to see it, and then you can wear a sleeveless shirt or backless dress/halter top when you want to show them off. I also know someone who has tattoos on her feet! But I think that's a really painful spot to get tattoos done

Yeah you've got to think through a decision like that thoroughly.
What kind of work you do or will want to do in the future is definitely something to take into consideration.

In my field, for example, it's not frowned upon but it's not a good idea to go flaunting tattoos like that as they can seem intimidating to our clients. (I'm a nurse and work in a long term care facility) I know a couple of girls who do have extensive tattoos and/or piercings. The piercings have to come out while working and they generally wear long sleeves under their scrub tops to cover the majority of their tattoos. Sounds fine in the winter, but in the summer it's awfully warm around here to be wearing sleeves all day long. Especially considering our residents like the temperature around blast furnace level and we're slopping around in showers and water on and off throughout the day.

I am getting my bachelor's in Environmental Science to be a forest ranger or fishery tech, and I tend to wear sweaters all the time anyway out in the wilderness where I would be at, even during summer. My dad and I are talking about it too because of all the farms around here that he has connections with who would privately hire me to test their water and dirt and all that to make sure they are safe. I'm definitely not doing it soon. I want to get set into my career first and see how my boss likes the idea and all that. I just think it would be really neat someday.

Oh, that's really cool! I never thought of getting a CS tattoo. I'd love to get "PPS" in little pixel font somewhere, like my shoulder. Then it could be symbolic of "never growing old" or something as well!

OMG your tattoo is so cute!!!!!! I would love to get one some day,but I'm afraid it'll hurt A LOT. . .though, if I actually do end up getting one I might get the joker dog, the new store pets for this month,or even the nine tails dog from 2011 that looks like naruto :3 ,possibly even some of the summer pets since they're just soooooo adorable!!!!!!! (I'll just have to make sure that I ask permission when&if I decide to get any, and make sure I get them in the right spot *hopefully it won't hurt so bad if I get it/them on my back, or waist*)
