The cancel message was embellished. It merely said "I don't care about paperclips."

We don't tolerate people making trades seem more rude than they actually were. Tess has made this very clear.

Trying to do item swaps is a pain, it really is. First you have to find someone who trades items, and actually has what you're looking for.

finding people who know what items are worth is hard as well e.e

Yes, that part was added by the user to make it seem more rude. But the cancel message simply said that they don't care about paperclips.

LOL! Why people still insist on elaborating and flat out making stuff up I will never understand. Do they really think the mods and admins dont notice what's going on around their own website?

I dont mind people not locking not for trade pets, they may have a perfectly fine reason for doing so. people see these as showing off. Bit I dont. I see "showcase" groups as showing off.
They are only open to "look" at. and the name "showcase" makes it seem like they are flaunting them and bragging about them.
I dunno, it just annoys me.

Yeah, I dont mind normal groups just being open, but when a group says "Showcase" or "Look, but no touch!" It annoys me. They just dangle pets in someones face! >.>. I have a group named "dreamies" But their open for trades!

This! I came across someone who blatantly said in their rules not to offer on their dream pets group, it was a showcase group.

.........and it wasn't even wishlist locked.

I was tempted to offer, seeing as the only pets they had of interest were in that group.
