Why do people get so upset when someone trades away their gifts? I mean, you send gifts to make people happy, right? If they trade your gift, they obviously won't trade for something they don't want. So if they're happy either way, what's the problem?
I mean, if I get a gift that is valuable; and I use it to trade for my dreamie, I'll be extremely happy; and still be grateful to the person who gave me the valuable gift. It's like they gave me my dreamie.

Also, another rant: People! If I don't have anything in my trade group I have nothing to trade!! What part of that doesn't make sense!? D:

This has been happening a lot. Some people are okay with you trading away their gifts. Others expect you to treasure it because they didn't have to give it to you.

The ones that really make people angry are when they gift someone a 'dreamie' major or minor, and the next thing they know it's being auctioned away or traded or it's just plain not there anymore. That is what really disheartens people. Why say it's a dreamie and then just get rid of it, even if it is for something more rare. I was offered an 08 for my rainbow leopard dog. As much as I wanted to accept, the leopard dog was a dreamie and I still have it.

On the other hand a random gift, not a dreamie just pretty, is something very nice. But, if you are going to trade it away, ask first. I had someone give me a rare 09 spider. I'm an arachnophobe so I asked them very politely if I could trade it away. I don't think any gifter would get extremely upset if you politely tell them that someone has offered you a dreamie, or the next major step to your dreamie, in exchange for their gift. They'll be a lot less upset than if you just blindly trade it off.

And that's my two cents there.
