Anyone hyped for this outcome?

I LOVE owls and I adore Saikiyo's the artist's style so yesss! I've been so looking forward to seeing the little Owlet all grown up ever since I first saw it.

I just don't really like it. The face looks extremely awkward and the eyes are very strange. the body and tail are alright but the front chest doesn't really have that fluffy look to it. Overall it isn't my sort of pet

I absolutely love this growth but the eyes, something is a bit off. I think if they were a deep green rather than bright blue it would help. And like you said a little further apart. I adore the tail, love how it curls :3

What you guys have to remember is that this originally is the dog lineart, not to mention the eyes are the same amount apart as the original dog lineart.
I think the angled edit of the eyes is what might be throwing some people off, though I feel that was done to get more of the obvious feline/cat eye look. ^_^

I think the eyes seem too close even though it's the normal spacing because the eyes are bigger, so proportionally they should then be farther apart... right?

Guys, please remember that many mods are not full-time artists, and imperfections are going to happen. Nitpicking over it might satisfy you guys a little bit, but it's kinda pointless because the outcome will not change, and it can get a little hurtful if you aren't careful. We didn't participate to slave over a perfect outcome, we wanted to have fun with it.
