Awhile ago there was a bunch of fake accounts that were made, and they have now gone inactive, thus the rarities were affected because of them previously. Rarities are now back to normal. Nick made a post about it somewhere in the forums.

Lots of spambots made accounts but they never adopted pets, of course. This meant there were more accounts, but less pets to go round, making rarities increase.
Those accounts were then deleted, so lots of rarities dropped. c:

I don't know if it has been mentioned and I don't know the exact date, but I just realized my flower pot is very rare. Was OMG so rare and is not in the Rarity Changes list.

It is on this list, under OMGSR -> VR. It's on the first page.

And the rarity had changed a long time ago - I find it strange how you haven't heard all the users gawking about it. Oh well. :3

Edit: I'm quite sure that's outdated, since it doesn't say recent. I wonder about the user who wrote it, they most likely didn't have enough time and couldn't check it.

I'm not that active in the forums And no, it's not in the Rarity Changes archive which I linked above (there is a post OMGSR-fluctuations, and my browser search doesn't give me any result). Or I need new glasses (which could well be the case! )
