Staff Litter 2022 Discussion Thread

Two more of us have been thinking, chasing, nailing down, etc and have come to this conclusion for this sweet and beautiful pupper...

Lots of nature
long tail and edited tag
Is true to it’s nature - it loves nature
The caterpillars will change and transform, which dragonflies symbolize
probably likes summer/sunny weather so that plants can bloom
likes flowers (little flower)

From me... I did not see the wee pillar! Pillars change to butterflies. Dragonflies change from nymphs to beauty. Change is very true to nature, long tail... tag isn't edited, catmom! Crescent moon, flower, shrooms, caterpillar, stripes can resemble the rings of a tree (can only see them when the poor thing is cut), spots (to me) seem like moon spots (moongazer here!), small horns on the top of the head represent the god of nature, Pan (ish Pagan here grins) if the tag is edited, then it would be the colour. Plants like wet and warm weather to grow. The only one that has 2 of those hints is the axolotl and I am heavily leaning on that one to belong to Vampiric.

Raire... this one is your pupper. It matches the clues. Axolotl only matches 2. None of the other pups have any nature on it, except for Flutternose and it doesn't belong to you. That was already confirmed.

On a completely different note, I've been looking into the archives at past September pups, looking to match this apparent fan-favourite with an artist.

I've checked past staff pups of all participating artists who haven't yet claimed a pup, and of those, the only one who appears to have used that specific four-dot pixel highlight on past outcomes...
...is Raire.

When I saw this post, I thought I should also put my thoughts down, too, as I wasn’t the only one. And then Windi saw it, too, so now I know it’s not just me!

After reviewing Yagmur’s responses to questions, I am sticking with this pup for now.
- The pup’s aura is a blur
- This pup looks like a supernatural being so of course it would believe in them
- Neptune is a blue planet with a big red spot so this pup blends in
- Aquarius is an air sign and also (from http://www.tarot.com) - When Neptune is direct in Aquarius, the air is filled with heady concepts of unity, but this clouds our connection to our inner worlds and ourselves as individuals. This pup has some cloudiness over it/possible blurry aura
- This pup looks like a fantasy and also prefers the fantasy genre
- This pup has no wings

Here is my reasoning or lack thereof

-This pup since it is the sky and dragonflies fly in the sky
- Has line edits - the mouth specifically
- Purple eyes
- May be dreaming of flying - after all, its head is in the clouds
- It has a long tail
- Since it has no wings/can’t fly at this stage, it may be feeling half empty
- May become true to its nature once it grows up
- The sky is very much nature themed

Now we just have a few more possibilities to narrow down.

Going off of this only hint Vampiric gave us...

and knowing how random her style is (don't just go off her style as she is one of a many few that changes)...
THIS PUP
Belongs to our Vampi. Why? Axolotl tail, Axolotl gills on the side of the pup's head. In her only clue/hint, it refers and points to Axolotl pup. Pup looks like the beginnings of an Axolotl adult. I am calling you out, Vampi, and saying this is your pup!



My second staff pup guess merely goes off of this for xem.

xem is too new for me, so I am not sure at all. I haven't seen their artwork/portfolio. I take that back. While xem is still very new for me, look at Easter from last year! archive/2021/Easter/Artist-xem Liddi already claimed her sweet pup. Part of me is trying to pair up Shroom pup with xem's Easter pets they did. Then, look at the rest of their pets they did for November and the rest of 2021.

I am going to say that this pupper...

Belongs to them. I see similarities from their Easter pets they did and also a laid-back style from their draft horses from 2021 and the PPS foal they did for CS birthday.
