"Hey, baby! You lookin' so fine. Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?"
"Why yes, yes it did."
"Why yes, yes it did."

" Now siddown and lemme tell you kids a story of two animals, the Fox and the Hound.
But this ain't yer stereotypical happy endin' story
Oh no, the ending for these two comes all too soon. "

'But... You can't just leave me here!" I shouted over the wind and the rain as it pounded down on me leaving me wet as he drove away. My thoughts were racing past. "I hate you!" I shouted as the rain and my tears mixed together on my face. I shuddered and started to walk home.
"Please forgive me" I pleaded on the phone. I wanted nothing more than to be alone with my lover, appropriatley name Lover. My voice was nothing more than a strangled cry. "Please come back to me" I said one more time. "Please" But it was over. She still hated me, and would never forgive me. Why did I tell her it was I who killed her father? It was rainy that night, and he was crossing the street...

Gigglepie- Love that!" Well kids, it went a'somthin' like this. Once upon a time... "
Speed.
The young fox needed more.
That hound, very nimble and fleet for its kind.
It was proving to be much trouble, hounds tended to be slow and sluggish, an easy predator for smaller canines to outrun.
But this one was different, lighter bones, harder eyes, not a joking appearance like the wrinkled few. No, this one was deadly and swift, prepared to kill, intense.
His owner was no trouble, about as good with a gun as the fox.
He was usually a easy target for food to steal, so slow in his reflexes with dogs the same. But not this time.
If the poor fox's pondering had not cost him reflexes, he may have lived a little longer.
The hound raced from behind him, teeth bared, snapping in the air, eyes wide and enraged.
The man continued to fire poorly.
Time moved slowly as the dog lunged, mouth open like a shark's, and caught the fox while it was in a poorly decided leap.
The hound only held onto it for the first few moments.
The slow old man continued to run up from the distance, firing.
It proved to be too long to the hound, which simply ended the fox's life there.
But from a far distance, the man didn't know the battle was over.
He shot once more, with a bullet that thrust itself straight into the hound's heart. The hound let out a mournful cry, and fell over to its side.
" Well, that's m'story. "
" Why would you tell us that grandpa? It's so sad? "
"Because I was the hunter. " He sighed as he pointed a lone, bony finger to the two graves outside, marked " Fox" and "Hound".
