Winter Wonderland (Win) and Alaska

Win shivered pathetically. Despite the cheerily frosty name his parents had given him - Winter Wonderland, gah! - he was not fond of the cold weather. Mountains of snow was blocking his path, more and more of the wretched white madness kept falling from the sky and even the trees seemed out to get him, lowering their snow covered branches to snag against his sides and trip his feet. Too grumpy to notice the change in the landscape, he suddenly felt the ground disappear from under him and fell with a surprised yelp.
After a snow blurred tumble that seemed to last forever he came to a sudden stop, upside down in another big pile of that never ending white goo. Disoriented from the fall and feeling very sorry for himself he just laid there on his back, cursing the dream that made him leave the comfort of his warm house on a night like this. See something... no, feel something in your sleep, then go out in a midnight blizzard to find... find what? What was he looking for?
Yeah, he was completely nuts.
Sighing at his own stupidity he got up again, sneezing when the snow tickled his nose. And the he heard it: soft melodic laughter like beautiful music. Blinking rapidly to get his bearings he looked towards the sound and suddenly knew. It wasn't a dream, it was reality, better than any dream he could have imagined or hoped for. Because right there in front of him was Alaska. She was home.
