I'm sorry to say that the horse is not a papaya, or a peach. There is no kiwi, or banana. No tomatoes or peppers, mangoes or guava.
These are all wonderful guess, and so close to the answer!

Do the horses have a theme? They all seem like apples to me.

The horses are apples! <3

More specifically, they are a pun, of sorts, on the word "appaloosa". For anyone unfamiliar with horses, "appaloosa" simply refers to a type of spotted horse.

I have affectionately dubbed this litter apple-oosas <3

Here we have very simple kinds of apples, and each show some signs of spotting.
-- Sour green
-- Golden delicious
-- Honey crisp
-- ??? (super secret for now)

Cool! I thought they were based on different fruit but I guess I was close!

Heh, I got it right.
Can't wait for the last one to grow. Red Delicious maybe? Or a Fiji apple? Hmmm...

And wouldn't Sour Green be Granny Smith?When I google 'sour green apple' no actual variety comes up, though I know Granny Smiths are sour, and green.
