I understand that lists already consider demand, but I also understand that regardless of what the list says, there are some pets that are more sought after/easier to trade than others. With the said...which of these would be my best bet for moving my way up the lists? Or should I wait for a 'better' offer?

In my opinion the first is your best options. Dogs always trade away better than any other pet in my experience.
