Staff Litter 2015 Discussion Thread

Todays growth is interesting. Certainly wasn't expecting the wings!

I will say that at this time the wings look a bit odd to me. Though i believe that is mostly in part due to the fact that i'm just far too used to seeing wings that are either not touching the back at all, or are lined up along the back. Its an interesting little twist though to have them coming up off the shoulders, with the 2nd segment connected to the first.

A very interesting staff pet overall though! Will just take a little bit of getting used to with the wings xD

Well.. I know i said i was going to bed... But i just couldnt ignore Shuylers post...
Here what i got for Shuyler

- My dog uses a fair amount of blue.

- my dog has all five colors of the palette visibly incorporated into its design.

- My dog has eyes and can see perfectly fine.

- A part of the original lineart has been erased on my dog

If we followe these we're left with these pups:

All three pets can be connected to the Leviathan, seamonster. One of the describtions are simmiliar to a dragon, the second one could be battling against it and last is obviously a sea animal and COULD change into a leviathan.. Well… lets leave the last one out from now on

- 12.9.5.18.8.12.18.20 [converted to letters it's L I E R H L R T, which can spell 'Thriller', which was said to be on the right track.]

The thriller could indicated the fear of the leviathan

- Main dogs fur color is not two toned

The Dragon-looking one uses all colors, the one with the vest has one color with freckles.

- My dog has markings.

The Dragon is overflowing with markings, and freckles are markings as well ^.~

- There will be something different about my dog's eyes when it grows up.

Can't tell bevore it grows

- None of the features on my final design are based on a bird, nor can my dog fly in any way. Instead, you may find my dog has something in common with a cricket.

A cricket has strong legs and can jump and run fast
OR a cricket makes music. A Leviathan sometimes is described as a blue whale as well and they are singing ^^

Maybe Leviathan related as well? It's said that the leviathan will be kiled at Harmagedon and be feet to another (good) monster. But it could also mean that the pup with the towel could get a weapon when it's about to be killed by the leviathan

Another lyric. Well lets move on with my leviathan-theory. A leviathan is a one of a kind monster, so of course its not like any other animal. OR The pup with the towel is the only one with clothes and the only one that cries, so its not like the others as well.

Morningstar is the translation of Lucifer, which is an alternate name for Satan

So i guess i take the dark side and say the Leviathan dragon is yours Shuyler!
(Or mabybe the other one with the towel after all... so unsure ^^° because Jesus and Mary are called Morningstar as well =-=)

I completely disagree :lol:
Yağmur made the very colourful cat litter, so I rather think they'd enjoy brighter designs with this colour palette.
Also, the previous staff pets all have been fancy and already lineart edits, so I rather think the puppy this year is edited, too.

Also, for Nadine, the pup with the butterfly reminds me of this litter (swirls, stripes, colour around eye):

The other pups colours are more... hm... "smooth", I don't think that really fits Nadines art so far. ^^; Her style rather reminds me of old 2008 pets.

I thought I'd stop leaving all of you in the dark and finally reveal that this pup is certainly mine. A few of you definitely were on to me from the beginning, but not to a point that had me worried too much. I had fun watching you all in the last couple of weeks guessing which puppy was mine and the interesting theories. My pup, known as 'Aurora', did have some markings shared with my first litter.
