My first thought that it was a butterfly coccoon or something similar, but really, we won't know for certain till it's all grown up, right? I think it's just so fun when we get the staff litter because you never know what they'll turn out to be. They all always put so much effort into them, they're fantastic to see how the dogs end up.

Remember that it could not even be a cocoon ;D
That could be a blanket or something and it would grow up a normal dog. Although it does seem to be a cocoon right now, it's just a guessing game.

Really? I thought it was confirmed as a cocoon, the post a couple of pages back seemed very, very confident...
If it isn't, there is a world of opportunities.
My gut feeling was tissue paper. Like a wrapped up ornament.
