What was your first hoard and why did you want to hoard them?
My first hoard was, I believe, my 221b Baker Street pups! I had always liked their designs, but what made me want to hoard them was that I started watching the BBC series "Sherlock" and I'm pretty sure the litter design was influenced by the show. I really liked that series back when only two seasons were around (not so much today due to those newer seasons) and so I began my first hoard. I was so proud to reach my goal of 221 dogs, and I still keep them even though I'm no longer a fan of the show just because I still love the design and I'm proud of my accomplishment. What do you consider a small hoard, and what do you consider a large hoard? This question is a bit tricky. I know most people around here consider 5 to 10 pets a small number, and 20 to 50 to be a large hoard. However, I always found myself considering 100 to 150 pets a small goal if the pet is uncommon or below, and 50 a good number for rare or very rare hoards. Large hoards for me are anything with 300 to 500+ pets, and some of my goals have upwards of 2000+ pets! How many hoards do you have that have over 1,000 hoard pets?Doing a really quick tally, we have:►
The Parasol Protectorate (Incomplete!)
►
The Isabelle Lightwood Collection►
Practical Handbook of Bee Culture (Unlimited!)
►
Mass Effect: | Eternal | Infinite | Immortal (Incomplete!)
►
Freedom Is a Length of RopeA grand total of 5, though a few of my slower-moving hoards have goals of 1000 or more pets so hopefully this number will grow!Which one of your hoards has the most hoard pets? ( and how many
? )
Definitely Practical Handbook of Bee Culture at 2063 ponies! As it's unlimited, I'm certain this will forever be my largest hoard. Thanks to Beemo for trading me their record-breaking hoard of these guys and pushing my own up past the 150 mark I'd stopped at!What are some tips to growing your hoard faster?I'll do this in bullet points as I could likely write whole paragraphs about what I've tried to do to increase my hoard growth:►
