If anyone has not noticed, there is a new hoard records thread.
The chicken hoards have been added, and I proudly own 3 of them {though probably not for long}.

I have decided to continue with my painted cockerel hoard. New goal; 100

My hoard started out strong and trades were flowing like the ocean breeze~ but lately its been verry slow. Has anyone else experienced this? Around the 2000 mark? I've offered C$ and some rares, but it's proving harder and harder to find them. :/ I know I haven't collected the least bit of the majority.. maybe .002% of all Chia pets on the site.

I'm trying to get 2000 Sushi PPS cats, and am at ~1800 now.
Problem is that they're getting kinda hard to find, despite being common, so I'm scrambling to get the last 200 .-.
Back when I started, people almost threw them at me, but well, that was almost three years ago, lol.

Lolol, I wouldn't mind if the 'pillar turned rare first. I only hoard the grown-up outcomes, so... x)
I'm just happy they're all still UC as of now; gives me time to get some more of the racket-tails before it'll be even harder to trade for them. I have only two of them in my hoard of 29. One is from the Pound xDD

|D I knew you'd want to hoard them as soon as I realized they are indeed hummingbirds. *haha* A rare PPS wouldn't stop me from hoarding and I'd also be happy, but still... people already want crazy offers. Apparently a 2011 uncommon isn't enough. :x

Jep; some people want ...fascinating... offers for them.
My problem is that I do have a crazy lot of UC bwolves from 2009-2012, but nobody really wants those.
I can understand it, after all, most of them only turned UC because of their age, while the hummingbirds are already worth that much. Also, demand.
But still... *sigh*

It frustrates me so much that they are my smallest hoard at the moment.
They're definitely the hardest to get (with the exception of Vixens, but that's no surprise) .-.
And I don't really want to focus on them more than on my other hoards either.
I already cut down my endless ones as much as I could, so now I'm left with 7, and all of them mean so much to me, I simply can't put one on hold in favour of another.

I only submitted my litter hoard so that there wouldn't be so many people with smaller hoards competing against each other, as was the case with some other categories - trying to save Shian the trouble of editing stuff in and out, lol.
If I had known you'd go for the same category, I wouldn't have bothered, but I wasn't quite sure which one you'd want^^

i dont think ill be on the world records thread - 95% of my hoards have a cap [ 20 ], the rest are unlimited, but small. for example, my chicken hoard is at 350 , which is tiny compared to everyone else's chicken hoard.

I initially started this hoard because they reminded me of my Westie,and seeing as they were April pets(my dog's birthday!) I couldn't resist.I wanted to stop the hoard at 25(the day of April when Joey was born) but somehow I got more,and now I'm planning to go till 100! eue

It happens. There will be times when I'll get a particular hoard pet by the dozens for days. Then all of a sudden, nothing for months.

Just be patient and stop watching them. At least that's what I do. It seems one day I'll look at a certain hoard and to "wow! I didn't realize I'd accumulated that many" Then seem to multiply when you're not looking. Sort of like a watched pot never boiling.

My Rottie hoard is pathetic. It's impossible to get them anymore, and they're so hard to find UFT. When I do find them, they're either NFT or they're WL-locked and I have nothing proper on the other person's WL. I can't justify paying a 2010 rare for one or two common Rotties rotting away in someone's trade group.

I feel terrible about how successful this hoard has been when my Rottie hoard is such a failure. Rotties mean so much more to me than the BWs, it's not like they're any more rare..... so they shouldn't be so hard to get.........
