I sent someone a gift. It wasn't on their WL but I figured they couldn't possibly mind. They cancelled with this message:

I only accept wishlist gifts

This was the gift.
They cancelled THIS.
Because it wasn't on their wishlist.

That's horrible! You should accept any gift anyway out of courtesy, but not accepting that is just... I have no words.

Its more than the fact they cancel it, but thats a wonderful gift, you have to feel amazing to gift some random person that.
Thats just terrible. Why would you turn down the graciousness of that!?

This. I just..i don't understand why they would do that at all. just because it's not on their WL... It's still a gift and you were very kind to give something like that to someone. I know a lot of people would have loved ot be in their position.

Perhaps they are just considerate of others and don't feel right taking gifts that they don't need/want? I appreciate people who don't hoard all the super awesome pets so that I may try to get at them. A shame they couldn't be more polite. <3

Okay. Finally just recovered. Why would someone do that? Seriously?! It doesn't matter what the gift is, how awesome it is, or if it's wishlist or not; you accept a gift out of common courtesy. I find it offensive when people turn down gifts. What, it's not good enough for you? And since your gift was about as good as it gets, I'm just not sure what was going through this rude person's mind. Okay. Done. /end long rant

You sure this isn't a prank!?!? OMG I'm actually so shocked right now...maybe they're new and don't know the value of a Sunjewel or maybe it's a prank...I don't even know. Welp, at least you know they didn't deserve the Sunjewel anyway. I can't even believe they did this.....if they're new they're gonna regret this once they realize how valuable the Sunjewel is. XD Regardless of demand/rarity, that's still extremely rude to cancel cause of that..
