I think it´s sad if you get titled a hater just because you say an outcome is not after your tastes.
I do not wish to critique the artists, or their work. I just ... express my opinion in what I hope is a non-offensive way :c

Seeing artists like Orchid Spring a few pages ago saying they are afraid for their dogs to grow up in case there will be people that won´t like it .. it´s ... well ... Not everyone can like everything ...
And I thought this is a discussion board, about the likes or dislikes and not only to compliment? No need to rain abuse on users that say they don´t like an outcome or think it´s not as pretty as others. You might think so yourself about a different outcome....
Just ... me throwing in my few cents...

don't think any one is abusing you for not liking something, you know?!
I think it is just a little respect due to the people behind the scenes who are quite honestly living lives waay beyond a virtual game site and take their precious time to make virtual pets for us to enjoy or not....of course, your own taste. don;t think a single artist on here would balk at constructive comments but, pointing out "what is, in your opinion "wrong" with their design is unarguably rude...and quite frankly against the rules of the game

back on topic-after searching thru the archives it seems Sorren Fey has a great love for the spaniel style ear soo my best guess is she owns this little girl

I'm not going to lie, with some of the comments on here, you have all officially made me afraid for mine to grow. =/ Yes, most of the comments were phrased nicely, but there were still a lot of people ripping dogs apart and saying what is wrong with them. Not everything can please everyone. I guess there will always be haters, but this is kind of ridiculous. I wish I could have just made a PPS and been done with it so I don't have to see, "I liked the pup, but this adult... Meh. Not a fan." =|

Kinda now how you feel <:D;; Reading through all this also makes me a little nervous for mine to grow up. More because I have seen people come with so many guesses on what it'll be, and then they'll maybe be disappointed when seeing it's nothing like what they had hoped for and will go "Meh. This is not what I wanted/hoped for.";; But yea. As many have said, can't please everyone after all; I'm proud of how I made my staff dog, and will be filled with joy to see the people who actually will like it c:~ And all the staff dogs are beautiful in their own way, and are all so unique! We used so much time on making them, and should look look at the bright side of it all. Many will like the outcomes, while sadly some will be more disappointed and "rip the dogs apart".

Pluma and Orchid Sprig...there are still some of the older players that totally enjoy the staff pups that are made each year...me included. Not once have I had a negative remark about them and 1 I've included in a PPS hoard I have...Sorren Fey's. All the work that you and the rest of the staff do is incredible and most enjoyable. Keep up the good work! (((HUGS)))

I totally agree you give up your free time to make FREE pets for us, and although not every single person will love every single one of them they are still all beautiful.

While I agree that constructive criticism is necessary for an artist to grow and develop, honestly the biggest thing to remember with these pets is that these artists and staff members take time out of their busy lives to give us a diverse and beautiful staff litter every year. Many of these artists have full time jobs or school to contend with, and don't have as much free time as many CSians seem to think they do. Many of them simply liked their pup and full-grown pet the way it was, regardless and maybe even because of some of the things people have pointed out as flaws. Personally, with such a large litter, I know there are going to be pups I don't particularly like, or aren't particularly my style, but it's not really our place as users to be publicly critiquing the outcomes. Yes, artists open themselves up to that when they post their art publicly, but not one of the artists has asked for our input about their outcomes, and I'm betting poor Tiiki is at least slightly self-conscious at this point about her art, which I must say, on both CS and in person is exceptional. And now even poor Orchid is worried about her outcome being liked. If the artist opens themselves up for criticism, then by all means offer as much constructive criticism as you like, but up until that point, we have no idea what's going on in these artists' lives, either while they are creating pets, or after they come out. So please keep that in mind, and if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all.

And thank you to all the staff for our lovely staff litter. The colors, and all the lovely designs, even the suspense make this event spectacular. Thank you for all you do, in this month and all the others <3

i'm a tad afraid to post my opinion here for fear it'll be seen as 'hating on the pup.' vuv but i'll just post it regardless and people can take it how they want.


i must say, i really didn't expect this. i figured it'd just be a slim tail with all the usual fluff. it's actually quite nice that it's so unusual - brings more variety to the usual round of pets. ;3 it does honestly throw me off a bit though - as someone said a few pages back i think, just the fact that we've never seen this lineart before is wigging me out a bit. i really do like the coloration though, and the items are a nice touch. plus, the eye color is simply stunning. still though, just the lines... sorta weird to adjust to.


this one is definitely my favorite pup. <3 i have such a thing for mythical creatures, the design is awesome. i'm definitely hoarding this little guy.

I love everything I've seen so far from the staff litter. I wasn't sure whether I'd like the wanderer dog when it was a pup, but then it turns into one of my favorites! The staff sure can do well with nothing more than a base lineart and a color palette.

okay, I have found that I am completely lost after seeing that there are approximately 100 pages to try and catch up with.... Has anyone else claimed their pup?
That is other than Clowesia, Pluma, Spotty, Tragedae, Vampiric, Orchid, Leurai, PitchBlack, Kaycee, and Tiiki (from last nights adult growth)?
