Dead.
There was the King, now just a bloody heap on the ground. And there stood a single bystander. Her hands bloodless, her face innocent and terrified. But the real murderer, the assassin climbed out the window, and vanished. As the guards rushed to the room, they quickly grabbed her without thought and said,
"You will be executed publicly."
"I've done nothing wrong!" she wailed. "It was an assassin! He has escaped!"

"You are the new king." His heart shattered. But his dream came true. His own Utopia, the place of his dreams. His place of his dreams.

Her hands trembled. Execution day. But it would never come. Finally, the lock clicked. Her trembling hands had picked it. She was free. She quickly cloaked herself with a cloth from her cell, and sprinted away. As she ran, the posters could be seen from the corner of her eyes:
"Mystery Girl Fraya: to be executed today"

The crown was gently placed on his head as he knelt to the prince. He couldn't help but smile. His father may be dead, but now he could rule his own way. Everything was his now.
"I now pronounce you King Taavi."

She ran without knowing her direction. She ran without knowing any local people. Tears formed in her eyes, but she stared at the ground, still running full speed. The rest of her life as a fugitive. But it didn't matter. She had always been alone. The sun was setting, and people were headed home. But she wasn't. She had no home. Until she bumped into a surprising figure. "Come with me," he whispered, grabbing her slim wrist. She looked back once more to see a new poster:
"Wanted: escaped assassin
Reward: 1000 silver chips"

"I know you've done nothing wrong." The boy spoke quickly and quietly, and nearly dragged the girl to a large palace. "I know who you are. I know what you've been accused of. We must disguise you." The girl had no time to speak before hats and clothes and wigs were being thrown at her. "Quickly. We must not let the see you here." The girl nodded, but the boy grabbed her hand, and only looked at her. Without a single word. She stared into his eyes for a few moments. They were filled with a hopeful lust, with such a golden gleam...
[ six_for_gold ]
"There she is!" a woman cried. "She's here to kill the next king as well!" An old village woman pointed her shaky hand at the two holding a hand of each other's. The guards quickly rushed in, pulling the two apart from each other.
[ seven_for_a_secret ]
"You will be executed for escaping prison and attempting to kill the king."
The girl looked to the ground, tears falling from her eyes like rain from the sky. The boy looked sympathetically at her.
"But she did not try to kill me. I was housing an escaped criminal. And I am not above the law."
On the day of the execution, all was silent. The king and an "assassin" were to be killed. As the two stepped up to the platform, they turned to each other, and stared into each other's eyes again. Even they said nothing as they stepped onto the wood. The executioner put each of their heads into a looped rope.
"Thank you," the girl whispered.
"For what?" the boy questioned. They were about to die, and she was thanking him?
"I have always been alone. And now I finally have someone here with me."
The boy smiled, and reached out to grab her hand. She took it tightly, and closed her eyes tight.
And the lever was pulled.
