So close! Ok... back to the drawing board. I thought for sure Flutternose was yours. I do have a question... does your pup have eyes open or closed? For any staff left.

Does that mean, this is Raire's? (Only because it's the only unclaimed closed eyed pup that hasn't been denied (that I've seen)).

The edited tag also matches up with their previous staff dogs

Maybe Kazin’s pup? Not sure since we don’t have a lot go go by byt that is who I. thought of after seeing this pretty pup.

This is my second choice for Raire’s if my first choice gets denied. Of course, it is also another choice for Desmond’s pup as well I keep going back and forth on my guesses but even denials are good for narrowing down the choices we have left. I hope one of us is right!

And here is my guess for Desmond’s pup



We know a few things -

* Dorje’s dress up (along with the Badger, Badger, Badger meme - good job @Avianahelena for pointing this out), and snake pattern in Desmond’s stamps and maybe the hint of being in Slytherin, which has a Snake on it’s coat of armor) pointed to reveal the Emerald Tree Boa, a snake that is found in the Amazon Rainforest and is nocturnal when it hunts
* Also, the song stuck in Desmond’s head could be the meme Badger, Badger Badger
* The eyes and/or nose are pinkish/purplish, and that all of the purple hues of this palette are pinkish as well, so any purple could work for the eyes and/or nose
* And in response to kiro - My 2021 pup did have an edit, Kiro - it just got overlooked. It's not very big lol.

========This pup has a very subtle line edit in the mouth

* And in a response to Fleshcanvas: ... Maybe one of those could work? Not my usual style of naming, maybe, but to each their own lol

* His pup has a dominant sense - perhaps the heat sensors of a snake
* The pups toes are a different color than the leg
* Remember the lines hardly ever change with my second stage, anymore, the secret is to watch the design


Desmond’s pup stage is usually not very edited but has hints to what is to come. The edits to the pup stage is usually very small, and not with the tag.

None of the pups have any distinct ‘Emerald Tree Boa’ markings. But these snakes are solitary, and hunt at night. The stars on this pup indicate night, the time of day Boas come out to hunt. The eyes match the color indicated, as well as the toes to legs color. And I think this pup matches Desmond’s previous pups. So this is my guess. And if anything, we will get a denial out of this if nothing more.


Edit - so right thought processes for 2 of 3, but wrong pup. At least we narrowed down our choices of pups and know we are on the right track for the most part. Now I just hope I don’t pick that 3rd wrong thought process to go on a tangent and end up in left field again!

That means I obviously wouldn't say it if it were (because I would technically claim it) and if it weren't, it would only be one denial... so... it doesn't help that much =P

Maybe this pup. If you look down at its legs, the pattern on them remind me of the snake’s pattern


So all the things I thought in my previous post, minus the wrong pup of course, could apply to this pup.

Of course, I could be going off in the wrong direction with this clue even though it tells me where to look lol

Hey guys, I'm at work so I'll have to wait until later to really dive back into things, but I've been keeping up with the thread only loosely and wanted to know:
Has anyone claimed the fluffy-tailed growth from a cooler days ago? The one with the striped tail and painted markings? If not, has anyone done a Desmond-centric analysis of it? If no one has, I'll sit down later and compare the art style.

Hi there! If you meant this pup, no one has claimed it yet. I look forward to seeing your analysis of his pup. I don’t believe anyone has done a Desmond-centric analysis at all. We did think Nadine, though, mostly because of the floofy tail.

I don't recall how quick Nadine usually is to claim a correctly identified pup, but I think it's probably still worth the time to consider some other possibilities. 🙂

The tail marking and the painted symbols are what caught my eye. It doesn't have purple eyes though... I may go look up Emberwolf's hints too.



Just a quick @ before I return to the grindstone:

@Desmond, do 2 and 4 refer to Lir and Aidan, or am I navigating in the wrong direction?
