My monthly newborn review-


The design on the blanket (spots, stripes, rosetted spots) seems like something that has been done a little too many times, but each time it brings something new and I hope these dogs will too ^-^


Uhm, not sure about these yet. I like the color scheme but I'll have to wait and see about the designs :3


This is my favorite dog of the month, at the moment, as I love the sunny beach on the blanket, but the light, pastel-ish colors and design on the puppy itself is what has me interested. Can't wait to see the outcomes.


I like the design on the blanket, not sure about the base color being bright green though XD I'm one who likes natural base colors and unnatural markings, but that's just my opinion. o3o


Tiki dude 8D I'm very curious about the outcomes XD I love the colors


Hmmm... only 5 of these, light pink and green/blue stripes on the mane and tail... not sure yet ouo.


I am very worried about the fact that we got 14 of these x__x Not exactly interested in these, designs with objects on them (ice cream on this) are not my favorite thing in the world.


This... this I am most excited for this month XD I luff the colors and the leafy design (maybe certain citrus fruits?) and can't wait for it to grow :3


These look dark and mysterious o3o I'm looking forward to seeing the outcomes. Love the colors.

I'm going to guess these are going to be the favorites of many and spark up a lot of new hoards, but I'm not overjoyed by these. They're pretty, line edits are nice, but I guess they aren't my favorite thing in the world ^-^

I'm really excited for the butterwolves and the kitties! The rats also look cool, even though I'm not a huge fan of rats. I wasn't too excited when I saw the pairing for the 2nd gens, but after looking at the blankets I'm hopeful that they will have some interesting markings!

Also, I'm really hoping for a PPS from the beach blanket dogs. It looks like they're going to be really cute and colorful.

I'm probably going to be the only one to say this, and I hate being negative, but I feel rather betrayed when it comes to the 2nd Gens. I thought we were promised that they wouldn't use any of the rare '08's for 2nd Gens again, as it devalued them? I only say this, truly, because now I have to go find a coon-tail for my 2nd Gen collection, and trade some of my actual collection pets I've gathered for that. (Not to mention, half of my REALLY good trades were given away to staff members and friends over Christmas, so now I have nothing but collection pets to trade for. I didn't realize I'd ever have to do this. -.-) So yeah, I'm bummed because of this.

On the happier side, if I can get around to it, it's a lovely couple and I'm sure they'll have lovely pets. And I am excited to see two butterfly wolf couples. Everything else looks wonderful though! [/EndNegativity]

Devalues the 2nd gens, or the VR '08s? Because I think that, if anything, the Coontail will be more sought after now, so people can have both parents of the litter. IMO, it hardly devalues them at all. I don't think you're really mad that it "devalues" them, you're just annoyed that you gave away your fodder and now have to trade from your collection to get a coontail.

I cannot wait for this months pets to grow, I have a feeling that I'm going to have to start a new hoard
Also, I think that the beach dogs and the 2nd gens are gonna be soo cute!! I 'm really excited for them!

I think they're pretty even. I got all brown but it seems like most people got a mix.

I can honestly say, I am not disappointed with any of this month's newborns. Not one makes me "meh".

Although I am sad there are no spiders.
