They are based off something real. I have all their scientific species names written down, which I will tell you as they grow. (I picked a few odd ones and I have no idea what their common names are other than the [data expunged])

Well, for cats, yes, there has been a lot of calico/tortie outcomes and litters!

I believe this is almost all of them
