Emma was annoyed at the factor that Shiro wouldn't leave her alone. She trid to finish her math book but he wouldn't leave her alone.
"Shiro! Leave me alone!"
"Fine, sassy pants."
Everyone in the room laughed. Didn't they want to get in a good collage? Guess not. 4-8-3784+894= ? What what what? I know this one! Stupid test.
"Students! Settle down!" The teacher roared.

Nikki walked forwards, her head down. She was still silently crying to herself. "You're such a loser! Go die in a hole your royal shyness!" The echoes of insults lingered in her mind and another tear plopped to the tile floor.
"What did I ever do? It's not my fault I'm shy!" She whispered to herself. Something hit her in the arm and she cried out, whipping around. "What are you looking at?" Tracey snapped.
Tracey was the popular girl. She had long honey colored fur and a fiery attitude. She was bad to the bone and often died the chalk white hair that fell over her ice blue eyes.
Nikki backed away. "Something... Something..." The words were clogged in her throat. No. I can't be afraid. I have to stand up for myself. She thought and clenched her fists.
"Well? I don't have all day Miss Silence." Tracey complained. She flipped her hair and put one hand on her hip, a sneer with pointy white teeth on her face. The golden lab wouldn't let this go without some insults.
Nikki straightened up. Her eyes narrowed into scarlet slits and she opened her mouth. "I'm looking at an ugly brute who thinks she's so popular because she wears the newest clothes and bullies everyone instead of being nice and showing her true self." She replied. Her crimson eyes flashed and for once, no fear was in their depths.
Tracey tensed and leaped at her, a roar rumbling in her throat. Tracey slapped Nikki across the face and both of them lost it.
Nikki unsheathed her claws and ripped off the leather jacket Tracey was wearing. One of the sleeves ripped off. Before anyone knew what was going on, both girls were in a full scale cat fight.
Tracey lunge and punched Nikki in the eyes, causing her to miss and step on her shoe, rolling her ankle and slam her heel against the ground.. Nikki let out a shriek of pain and fell to the floor, holding her paw.

Nikki went home that day with a black eyes and her leg wrapped in bandages. Her ankle was sprained and her heel was broken. She leaned on one crutch and passed by Daniel's house. She saw him come out and hold up a knife. His mouth moved in a silent plea and he brought the knife down closer to him.
"NO!" Nikki flung herself forwards, pain burning through her leg and she tackled him, sending the knife flying into a nearby rock. It dug itself in and stayed there, quivering slightly.
Nikki was on top of Daniel. His brown and white fur was ragged, his eyes bleak and his nose and mouth running. Nikki just stayed there, frozen. He leaned up, she leaned down and their lips met.

Daniel took out the knife. He muttered a silent "Goodbye" and brought it down, positioned to dig into his jugular. Then, hsi crush Nikki slammed into him, making the blade fly from his hand and into a nearby rock. They looked into each other's eyes and her mini angel wings spread. They both leaned forwards and kissed.

Light glowed softly from Daniel. His fur grew soft and smooth, his nose and mouth stopped running and emotion returned to his eyes.His eyes closed and they stayed their for a long time before Nikki pulled away, a smile on her face.

"The best medicine... Is love."
