if anyone's curious, these dogs were based off the winter white dwarf hamster. this is my new girl, Q.
they change colors with the seasons, growing white in winter... hence the name! there's a couple variations, such as:


wild


imperial (now believed extinct!)


sapphire (my hamster is this one)

and also a pearl, which is always white year-round.

I'm late to the party, but I have to say I really adore this dog.
There aren't many monthlies this time around that caught my immediate interest, but this one sure does.
It reminds me of The Poet and the Muse by Poets of the Fall, so naturally, I'll have to hoard it under that name.
There's not much left to grow now, so I'm confident in saying this is my favourite outcome for April.
Love the design, especially the tail!
