Well, if they had rules that people shouldnt offer on certain groups. I feel that if someone wants a person to read their rules they should read someone elses. I dont lock my groups because I have asked people, nicely, in my rules please dont offer on bla bla bla. So they should read them and follow them.

Mostly everyone has rules. Doesn't mean everyone reads them. Even so, it can be a bit annoying if you are looking to trade for wishlist, and they have a big amount of pets that are in a group like "NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEFT OFFER AND YOUR FOED!"
Even groups like "Dreamies, never for trade" can be a bit annoying if you just want to trade. Sure, we wont offer on them. But we probably will think "If they're never for trade, and you know how to lock your groups, why keep them open?"
I get if a person has some disorder that makes it so they just get irritated if a group is locked for some reason. Other than that, the only good reason I can think of is it's basically a codeword. If they don't offer on your NFT groups, they might've read your rules. But if they had offered on one, they didn't. But still, there are other ways to tell.
(And there is a place to show off your pets. So that's not really a good reason.)
Rant: All I want, is a decent offer. Am I asking the world when I'm asking for that?
