I'm trying to suss out Bentleys pup now....I'm thinking it one of these two

I'm just here trying to figure out Liddi's dog XD Here are all the dogs in the realm of possibility according to her "Day 11" hint, denials, and pets already claimed.




So... a lot of possibilities xD
Liddi has not done a pet before, so it isn't possible to compare her art. Which makes this more of a challenge XD
I'm currently in between 2 XD But I'll pick my first choice.
(Haha, had to erase one because she denied one as I was making this XD Narrows it dowwwn)

"Whatever you're saying, I doubt my dog is listening."
Okay, I'll go in the simple direction with this. Most people don't think plants can hear. Looking at this dog, he seems to be sprouting a plant. But it also says "I doubt my dog is listening" not "He's not listening". Some people do believe plants can hear, because they're living things. This was a long shot but I gave it a try xD

"Could the pup share a trait with the cat closest to me?
I'll tell you that's true, but you'll have to see:
Is it one? Maybe two? Perhaps even three?"
I'm assuming this refers to her avatar. It appears that the spots on this dog could relate, along with the bob tail. It appears the coloring is a bit the opposite (light face, belly) the cat has a dark face, tail, paws.

"My dog has lineart edits"

Pretty self explanatory xD

"There are some things in life that get larger with age--
Your ears never stop, in time your height remains."

This is the clue that made this pup my most recent guess. Plants get larger with age, every part of them. If this dog represents a plant, there is a chance his ears could grow longer in his adult stage.

it's all in the deception-
the wolf hides in a phrase
of Matthew's conception"

This one is a bit hard. I am assuming she means the bible and what Matthew wrote on the conception of Jesus, which does not mention a specific location. Just as a plant can grow in any location. It also says "A phrase" of Matthew's conception, but it is hard to single out just one phrase. The story goes as an angel comes to Joseph and tells him about Jesus. Angels can be seen as spirits in nature. There's also the fact that the conception of Jesus was not natural, so it could be irony.

"At Day 11 my pup is already in second stage"

This pup grew before Day 11.

"My pups name is Aries"

The symbol of Aries is a Ram, and it seems to be a zodiac sign related to spring and "New beginnings". When plants sprout and grow.





If this is all wrong, there's still all those other pups XD

Did solloby confirm or deny my theory of their pup being the one that a solid dark gray with the white ombré like strip on it's back? My thoughts were that the hint was it was similar to last years and their last year pup had faded white around the snout and belly.. This one has faded on it's back... Have they denied it yet???
